Completed Outreach Projects:

2014-2015: Habitat for Humanity Partner Project in Harrington, P.E.I.

From April 27 to May 9, 2015, twelve Queen's Rotaractors fundraised and traveled to Harrington, P.E.I. to collaborate with the Habitat for Humanity Canada Builds Program in order to assist constructing a house for a local low-income family. Led by Outreach Directors, Paige McKinnon and Cindy Lang, the team successfully raised $24,000 throughout the school year.

2013-2014: Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug Partner Project

From April 28 to May 9, 2014, eleven Queen's Rotaractors fundraised and traveled to a First Nations reserve community, Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug (KI), located in Northern Ontario. Our club had chosen to form a partnership with the youth of KI because the housing and general living conditions on most Canadian reserves are far worse than the conditions that we take for granted.
