Become a Member

Are you a Queen’s student looking to make a difference? Do you want to meet new people, raise money for good causes, and learn about the Kingston community? Then consider joining the Queen’s Rotaract Club.

Our members gain experience organizing events and fundraising for a cause, while enjoying frequent social events and connections to other charities in Kingston and worldwide. In addition, a group of Rotaract members embark on an international trip each year to work directly with communities in need. Learn more about the Annual International Outreach Project here.

We charge our members an annual fee of $5. After that, how much you give is up to you.

As a member, you commit yourself to one meeting per week and you will be put on our mailing list. You can choose your level of involvement depending on your availability. Some members spearhead their own independent projects, while others choose to volunteer at an event once every two weeks.

Take note, however, that you must have a meeting attendance record of at least 60% to run for an executive position or to vote for executive members in the March elections.
